Sunday, August 23, 2026 • Pastor Joe

God revealed His Kingdom plan through prophecy (12:1-24; 14:21-31). All of God's word, including prophecy, is trustworthy and should be faithfully heeded for the building of God's kingdom to God's glory.

The Pilgrim's (Psalmist's) Progress (Psalm 25)

Sunday, June 21, 2026 • Pastor Joe

The Psalms were Israel's inspired hymnal. We don't know the tunes to which they were sung, but like any worship song, the words are the most important feature. Psalm 25 is a psalm that could easily be categorized as a wisdom psalm because of its themes. In this Psalm, the psalmist, David, provides principles of wisdom for "walking in God's will."

The Resurrection, Part 6; Resurrection and the Death of Death (1 Corinthians 15:50-58)

In concluding his discussion on the doctrine of resurrection, Paul addressed the living Christians in Corinth. Must a Christian die in order to receive a resurrection body? Paul's answer was a revelation, a 'mystery' hidden from people in times past but now revealed to God's elect.

To Marry or NOT to Marry? That is the Question (1 Corinthians 7:25-40)

Sunday, January 11, 2026 • Pastor Joe

Previously (7:17-24), Paul said that the situational circumstances of one's conversion need not be changed in order for a Believer to be of effective service in God's Kingdom (I.e., if married, stay married. If single, stay single). Paul now applies his principle to a specific situation where a betrothed couple was under pressure to break their "engagement."
