The Psalms were Israel's inspired hymnal. We don't know the tunes to which they were sung, but like any worship song, the words are the most important feature. Psalm 46 was a song of confidence celebrating the sovereignty of God. As our world experiences catastrophes and chaos, this is a much-needed psalm with a powerful message.
